Launched in 2019, WE L.I.T! is the first Black trans-affirming candle company, created to celebrate and affirm Black trans and nonbinary identities.
WE L.I.T! reimagines candle lighting as an act of celebration and truth rather than loss. Each candle invites reflection, presence, and self-recognition, honoring individual identity and lived experience. The name stands for We Live In Truth and reflects a commitment to affirmation in everyday life.
All candles are vegan-friendly and made with organic waxes and raw materials, including earth elements such as crystals and herbs. Packaging is designed with sustainability and reuse in mind, and scents are intentionally balanced to remain inclusive of those who are scent-sensitive.
