Beautiful Feet Wellness is a Denver-based nonprofit founded to serve people coming out of the sex trade and human trafficking, and the organizations that show up for them every day. Their approach is whole-person by design, recognizing that healing happens in the body as much as in the mind and spirit.
Survivors access direct services including fitness and wellness programming, support groups, life skills coaching, peer navigation, wellness retreats, and community meetups. Alongside that direct work, Beautiful Feet Wellness is building a public health framework for trauma-informed fitness instruction, establishing best practices that the broader field can learn from and adopt.
Their advocacy arm brings the work into public spaces through poetry, dance performances, and their annual Feet for Justice 5k/10k in Denver, raising awareness about human trafficking in ways that invite the community in rather than shut them out.
The name says it all. Rooted in Isaiah 52:7, Beautiful Feet Wellness was built on the belief that the people doing this work, and the survivors walking through it, are carrying something worth celebrating.
