About Us
Free Brands is a grassroots survivor-led nonprofit on a mission to create accessible pathways for survivors of trafficking and gender based violence to build wealth and thrive through entrepreneurship
Our Core Values
COLLABORATION
We create with survivors, not for survivors. We work alongside partners, donors, and communities to open new pathways for growth so we can all build lasting generational change.
INTEGRITY
We commit to ethical action in every decision and interaction. We center honesty, transparency, and care so survivors and supporters can trust the systems we build together.
ACCOUNTABILITY
We own our work and our impact. We follow through on commitments, measure our progress, and make data-informed decisions that strengthen our community.
RESPECT
We honor the lived experiences, strengths, and perspectives of everyone connected to our mission. We treat survivors, partners, and donors with dignity and care.
Meet The Team

As a second-generation survivor, Amanda is painfully aware of the difficulties faced while shifting one’s paradigm from surviving to thriving. Yet, she is a strong believer in the innate resiliency within us all. Amanda’s silver lining became her purpose when she vowed to break the cycle of generational trauma and change the trajectory of future generations, for herself and others. Her honors research on the barriers that survivor entrepreneurs face continues to inform her efforts to create data-driven, survivor-centered solutions.
