Savhera is a social enterprise dedicated to empowering survivors of exploitation and incarceration by unlocking their talents and providing dignified employment. The organization partners with social enterprises and other organizations to provide a research-backed “Human Development Model” in workplaces, helping them retain talent while providing sustainable opportunities.
At the core of Savhera’s work is the Savhera Human Development Model (SHDM), a trauma-informed workforce development framework that combines holistic support with intentional professional formation. Through individualized growth plans, wraparound services, and structured, skills-based employment experiences, participants develop across physical, intellectual, economic, and socio-emotional domains. Upon completion, participants are positioned to advance within their current workplace or pursue other sustainable career pathways—carrying with them not only technical skills, but the social capital, confidence, and leadership capacity necessary for long-term economic mobility.
